Euroweek Day One, Stadshuset, The City Hall of Stockholm

Nestled at the water's edge and topped by three golden crowns, the City Hall is one of Stockholm's most iconic buildings and stars in countless images and postcards of the city. Dating from 1923, the hall opened on that most Swedish of dates Midsummer's Eve. Housed within are assembly rooms, offices, works of art, and the machinery of civil democracy. The prestigious annual Nobel Banquets are held here. Recipients dine first in BlĂ„ hallen (The Blue Hall) and then move on to the formal ball in Gyllene salen (The Golden Hall), which has no less than 18 million mosaics adorning its walls. A particular treat is the chance to view the city from the famous tower. - Source: eurocheapo

Unfortunately, i didn't get a chance to see the city from above because there was a wedding ceremony that day, so the building was closed for public.

Euroweek Day One, Trip to Stockholm

Finally i'm able to post this one after struggled with exam stuffs. So at the end of April i was scheduled to fly to Scandinavia, to participate in Euroweek. This Euroweek thing is our school yearly project that 'force' their students to join or to participate in a project and work together with other students from another countries and make a contribution by making a paper that has a relation with the chosen topic, in my case or this year's topic is smart cities.

So D-1, Eileen and Me did a little trip to Stockholm, which is the capital city Scandinavia. Only a few hours... But i was able to got new memories and experiences. Nice city, nice people, nice foods.
